Park Presidio Neighbors
A: Please contact us at info@ppnsf.org, to get the name of your block or quadrant liaison,
A: Yes, you can, once you have filled out the Recreation and Park application of Permit to Perform Work and Hold Harmless Form and read the Volunteer Guidelines. Contact workdays@ppnsf.org, Workday Support Coordinator, or a member of the Executive Committee at info@ppnsf.org for a copy of these forms.
Once you have “signed-up” you are free to weed, pull ivy, clip blackberry and elm suckers, and pick up litter. Until we have more gardener support, you will need to put the clippings in your own compost bin or create a discreet compost pile somewhere in the park area. When we again have a gardener on the boulevard we will be able to call to request a pick-up of the cuttings. Additionally, try to keep track of your hours for the year to report to Teri Green so we can total the impact that Park Presidio Neighbors makes in our neighborhood.)
Both Members of PPN as well as non-members (who are residents of the area) are strongly encouraged to participate in the activities of the PPN. The Executive Committee (“EC”, as elected by PPN members in an open election) welcomes involvement of all interested parties.
